RedWolfJC's Politics Page!!
Here's where you'll find me spouting off at the mouth about all things political, think of it as my own little private McLaughlin Group.
As many of you may have noticed, this page doesn't get updated that frequently, however, it's becoming Campaign time again, and all that will change, at least somewhat. If you're looking for a fix of RedWolfJC's political meanderings, check out my blog, I update that at the least on a weekly basis, closer to a daily basis.
In an extreme reversal, I have changed my mind again on the voting process. Please, everyone, VOTE! Don't let the few make the decisions for the majority. The time is ripe for change. No longer can we blame the problems of the United States on the lazy and minorities. Sure, unemployment has always been a problem, but do you remember it ever being this bad for educated individuals? People with Bachelors, Masters, and even Doctorates on the dole? And we're not talking the B.A. in philosophy either. It is in the spirit of change that RedWolfJC, and the come.to/redwolfjc website endorse Senator John Kerry of Mass. in the Democratic Primary.
This is the first ever endorsement of RedWolfJC, and the website, as well as the people affiliated with it. Note: The opinions and endorsements do not necessarily reflect the beliefs, endorsements or opinions of Yahoo/Geocities, or it's employees, nor that of any advertising sponsors A Statement from John Kerry: "I'm running for President of the United States because it's unacceptable that we've lost nearly 3 million jobs in the last two years. I'm running for President of the United States to put America back on track, to put Americans back to work, and to make it clear that the one American that ought to be laid off is George W. Bush, and we intend to do it. I'm running for President because it is long since time that in the richest country on the planet, we recognize that health care in America is a right not a privilege - health care must be affordable, accessible for everyone. I'm running for President to hold George W. Bush accountable for making a mockery of the words 'no child left behind'". We need to bring that sense of outrage to the center of our effort to win back the White House. This is a contest between common sense American values and extreme ideologues whose agenda is to dismantle 50 years of Democratic achievement and we're not going to let them do it." - John Kerry
Anyone care for My opinion on the war? Probably not, but if I was to provide an opinion (which I will probably do soon) it would probably look a lot like Mr. Moore's. Click link below for some left-wing liberal enlightenment. ![]() ![]()
Looking for Weapons of Mass Destruction? So the RIAA, and the Record Labels have the best interests of the artists in mind, or so they claim in the Napster Lawsuit. Funny how Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich is the loudest critic of Napster. Maybe he is because Metallica owns all of their music outright, and basically co-owns their own record Label (E/M Ventures- short for Electra/Metallica). Well just to support my point here are two links to a story from the other side of the coin, an interview done with Adam Duritz of Counting Crows and Ed Kowalcyzk of Live. It's really interesting to see how the artists really feel when they're allowed to speak freely. One more interesting sidenote: Live's record label "Radioactive Records" is currently involved in a lawsuit against MCA/Universal music because it seems that MCA/Universal conveniently has failed to pay over 20 million dollars in royalties from record sales to Radioactive. For those who don't know, MCA/Universal is in charge of distribution of Radioactive artists music. What that means is that while the record label Radioactive holds all of the contracts to the artists, MCA/Universal basically "Sells" their product, gets it onto the record store shelves, and receives payment for those discs. MCA/Universal then forwards the profit/royalties from the sale of those CD's to Radioactive, minus the distribution fee. Clearly another case of the artists being exploited by the record labels who are suposedly protecting them. And if you think it's isolated, check out the debacle between Sony Music and the Offspring
So I go out on a limb and tell everyone to vote, and then we get these two assholes who make a mockery of the whole political system. It's time to end the two party system NOW. It's obvious that the whole Florida thing was so party biased, if Florida had been a Democratic state, The election goes to Al Gore. And that Bitch Katherine Harris with her smug ass shit eatin grin should step down immediately or face impeachment. Thats all I got to say about it for now. I am embarrassed that I even encouraged anyone to vote since it has now become more apparent than ever that your vote really doesn't mean shit! By the way click on the Bush banner to see his victory dance :) Election 2000 links: Know the issues and VOTE!
