Personality:
Shannia is very serious about her work. She thinks of nothing but
dragons.
History:
Born to a weyrmated couple, Shannia took to dragons like a fish to
water. She spent all her time with her mother, helping to care for the injured dragons. She is not a HAD, but has great empathy. At 13, her mother officially apprenticed her to the dragonhealing craft, though she had been learning it all along. As a Master, her mother was able to instruct her daughter herself, and Nia soon became a journeywoman. At 35, she became a Master herself and took over for her mother. Unfortunately, she was not the only dragon healer at Telgar and the Weyrleader decided to thin out not only his riders, but some of the crafters and lower cavern folk as well. So, daughter in tow, Nia transfered to Red Star Weyr.

History: Nia was presented with two firelizard eggs, one from her father, one from her mother, when she walked the tables and became a Master. Both are from the same clutch and except for size and Surg's scar they could be the same flit.
