Personality:
O'lan is a jokster, but never does it to hurt anyone. He is very devoted to his family and looks out for his sister.
History:
Oalan was born near Fort Hold when both his parents were assigned there. They moved around a lot, hence the large number of years between himself and his sister. He was an energetic child, with an insatiable appitite for knowlege. His parents thought that would stand him in good stead to apprentice with the Harper Hall, but as most young boys of Pern, he dreamed of being a dragonrider. But to please his parents, he became an apprentice harper. Because of his curiosity, he learned quickly, surpassing his parents at an early age. A few sevendays after walking the tables to journeyman, he was searched by a Fort dragon. Ecstatic at being searched, he went willingly, all kinds of visions of riding a fire breathing dragon and fighting the thread he just knew would soon be falling.
