Clothing: Simple yet effective, and the darker the better. While
he would never hide, it's not always best to be seen.

Personality: Like father, like son; K'den has a personality that
mirrors R'tuer's tenfold. Generally speaking, he's aggression
personified, as he has learned that his brash assertiveness is the
way, and only way, to get a job done. Considering he's already been ostracized for his father's actions, he feels he has nothing to
lose, but everything to prove.
History: Being the outcome of an unwanted partner in a green's
mating flight, Kaeden had learned early on that his place in life
was lower than that of a kitchen drudge. He grew up with the idea implanted in his head that he was as worthless as his murderer of a father, if not more so, and began to act the part. R'tuer had never once shown an interest in him when he was a boy, and as a result, K'den had no need to act any longer. Years of bitter resentment turned him into an assertive bully, resulting in being forbidden to Stand for any clutches. The Benden Weyrleader refused to have a descendant of R'tuer's have a chance at Impression.
At the age of 17, Kaeden outsmarted the `guards' who kept a watch on him during a Hatching. Actually, `knocked them unconscious' is an extremely more accurate telling, and he had strode confidently into the grounds. No sooner was he a few feet onto the sands, giving the Weyrleaders no time in which to send him back out, and a small bronze dragon was nearly running him over in hunger, warbling in admonishment. Impression had been made with weyrling Jayneth, and the Weyrleader had no say in the matter.
The first few months of weyrlinghood were rather interesting as
K'den was always asserting himself as the leader in any group
activities. Of course, no one protested, and rightly so. During
that time, he had had a few run ins' with R'tuer, and each time they ended up at each others throats. The Weyrleader and Weyrling Master had ample reason to send K'den off to Telgar Weyr, and as soon as the pair were able to fly and go /between/, they did.
The same problems arose at Telgar, but the Weyrleaders learned to deal with them. Or rather, they ignored the problem, and as soon as a suitable Weyr was looking for transfers, they sent K'den. He's been moved to two other Weyrs before finding his way to Red Star.

Name: Jayneth
Colour: Bronze
Age: 5
Size: 26 feet
Personality: More laid back than his rider, Jayneth is the one who
tries to smooth things over after it's been blown to bits by K'den's
temper. Generally, he stays out of trouble, usually trying to
convince K'den to do the same, but is right there to back his rider
up if the need arises.
Physical description: A deep rust colored body, with dapples of
extremely light bronze on both mainsails.
