Personality: Vya is extremely quiet, but not shy. He speaks in monosyllables, mostly because he doesn't have much to say.
History: Vya was found by some herders on their way to the south to run the new beasthold that was being erected. He was alone on the beach, watching the boats, accompanied only by a fair of wild firelizards that promptly disappeared at the approach of the adults. When asked about his family, his only answer was "None".
Krinon was loath to leave him there, so she brought him with her. Her spouse Prenolis was unsure, but the boy was so charming, he gave in. On the trip across the sea, Vya was found time and again, asleep in the beasthold curled up with the animals. Even Prenolis' runner who didn't tolerate anyone other than Prenolis allowed the boy to sleep in her stall in the rushes. When they reached
the new beasthold, Vya spent most of his time wandering and exploring. He was always accompanied by a fair of wild firelizards. He came across the green stone (Terran emerald) in a cave he had explored. The voices in his head had stopped on the new adventure across the water, but new ones came when they reached their destination. These ones were different and louder. He had caught a few names, Orianth, 'Beth, Ardeth and others. Oh and Drezth, that one was a very angry voice. Vya never talked back to the voices, he was content just to listen to them. They always had so much to say.
