Personality: Kind-hearted, jovial and dedicated to his work. C�daer doesn�t allow himself to be bogged down by the responsibilities of being a dragonrider; he embraces them. As long as he feels as though he�s being helpful in some respect, he�s happy. He will not tolerate laziness nor disrespectful attitudes, and often tries to figure out what�s causing them rather than handing out punishment. Often he addresses the candidates as apart of his �family�, and will frequently visit those who Impress.
History: As a typical weyrbrat, no one was sure whether Candaer found trouble, or if it found him, but he always seemed to be knee-deep in it from day one. His distinctive attitude of adolescent resilience was full blown until a particularly dangerous tunnel venture left him in the infirmary for over a week at the age of 10. Nulana, his foster mother, along with his parents, told him that he�d be able to stand for a clutch at the age of 12 if he behaved himself until then. They believed he�d behave for a few weeks, and then be back to his old self again in no time, but at least it�d give them a little peace and quiet.
However, his attitude changed almost immediately, and stayed that way. Candaer wanted nothing more than to be like his father and ride a marvelous dragon, and for several turns he stood for clutch after clutch when he was finally able. Just when he thought he�d never Impress, at the age of 18, Orianth hatched.
After relatively no trouble during Weyrlinghood, the pair became Wingseconds only 5 turns before their move to Red Star, and only 3 turns passed before C�daer was asked to become the Candidate Master at Fort. He readily accepted, but longed for a change of scenery. When Red Star came along, he jumped at the chance, and has been the Candidate Master for slightly over a turn at the newly forming Weyr.

Personality: Like his rider, Orianth is fun loving, though dedicated. He knows when it�s time to put away his tricks and become the staunch supporter that browns are usually noted for. This, however, does not keep him from having a good time.
Physical description: A tan colored hide, with an extremely dark brown underbelly. Orianth has a slightly smaller wingspan than usual, but it�s hardly kept him grounded.
