CHAPTER 14: AMBUSH AT SEA
THE REPORT:

While voyaging across the ocean north westward toward The City, the group encountered a strange tower which was proceeded by a rain of mice.

Exploring the wreck of iron for lost secrets, they discovered a City vessel relatively untouched docked there. Inside,
Wren was taken by a strange vision of her brother and men running from him - he screaming "Who's Wicked Now???!!" The others did not see this.

The bones of humanoids were found there, as well as strange technology and holy Christosian relics. Most notable were the
Salt Orcs laying in wait of the group. After the group found Sam Pickett, a delerious archaeologist from The City, tied up in a stairwell, the Salt Orcs attacked with automatic weapons. During that attack, though fighting valiantly, Sigardius fell.

After dispatching the creatures, the group gathered around Sigardius. Through the grace of his God, Sigardius was returned to life. However, Sigardius first had to pay a great price for his return. Shakaku overturned some barrells with Killian's help, and set the upper story of the tower ablaze.

The group left the tower, hearing a loud explosion outside. The archaelogical vessel from The City had been destroyed - and their own ship was leaving them.

Using an inflatible raft they found in the tower they paddled to their ship while Shakaku attempted to gain entry through a port hole learning that some of the sailors had become possessed of the same dark entities which had plagued them in Freeport. Even worse,
The Albino was aboard.
Wren scaled the ship and killed several of the possessed sailors with practiced ease, and Shakaku saved the other sailors from execution at the hands of their possessed brethren.

However,
The Albino had made off with Jeynta, and now there isn't enough crew to properly man the ship ---- and time is running out.
