Please remember that this holt is rated PG13! Some holts are not, and we will be happy to provide you with any available addresses, if you like. The original idea was to keep this holt as close to Wendy's creation as possible, but not including anything having to do with her creations, which means we don't like a lot of violence, especially elf on elf type violence, nor do we use ANY of *her* characters. That said, creating a character for Mountain Tree Holt means that you are willing to follow some basic guidelines:

1. NO graphic sex or violence
2. No unwarranted violence AMONG the elves (if, for some reason, you feel the need to turn one elf against another, you will need to explain to the editor how it ties into/affects the storyline!)
3. No modern phrases or human swear words - use your imagination & come up with your own!
4. There is a 5'0" height limit for animal blooded elves - pure bloods can be up to 6'0" - humans to 5'8"
5. Tri-bonding is allowed in Mountain Tree, but PLEASE keep it tasteful. You must show respect for younger members and readers!
6. Please limit the amount of magical ability you give your character (remember that in the original EQ series, magic users were few) You can have your elf/elves excel in many other ways!
7. All stories will be printed 'as is' - however, we will be happy to print any story without artwork, if you/we can�t find an artist. Neat, handwritten submissions will be accepted & typed up by the editor if you do not have access to a typewriter or computer.
8. All submissions - stories, art, whatever - must be approved by the editor!
9. We will try to work with everyone as we don't wish to turn anyone away! If you have an idea or a special need, we ask you to first discuss it with the editor.
10. You MUST contact the individual members for approval when using their characters in ANY artwork or stories - you may send your work to the editor, who will forward it to the member(s)
