My Artwork
Ok, I think it only fair to warn you that I am NOT an artist. Occasionally, something will inspire me to try my hand at drawing, and usually the results are pitiful, and disposed of rather quickly. But recently, I've discovered that I can kind of draw anime-style people, so I might as well share my results.
This was inspired by the anime Trigun. "Love and Peace" is the main character's signature phrase, and he always does this hand gesture along with it. I saw it so often, I decided to draw it. It looks pretty good, but the color of the hand scanned in a little more yellow than it really was. So, anyway...my first real, semi-successful attempt at artwork. Love and peace, everybody!
This is actually kind of part of the Modern Magus series that I started in Biology, but I did this over break, and I think it turned out really well. This is the Modern Magus as a ninja, like the title says. This is actually part of a group "picture" that I drew, of the Modern Magus and her Naruto-style ninja team, including their sensei, but I have to go through and darken the lines on all of the others, so I'll just put this up for now. Right now I have the color version and the original up. I colored it by following the wonderful tutorial by the artists of Tyro Tinge, found here. (Their stuff is much better) I had a couple issues with the saving and formating, so you can still see the pencil lines, and I'm not too happy with how the pants came out. But other than that...
This just goes to show how much of an LOTR fan I really am. Go here for even more evidence, as if you needed it...
See Redmage as a Lego Jedi, Mage, and Ninja. ^_^ Thanks again to Reasonably Clever.com, where I created these, and Silver Ash for giving me the site.
Just a woman; I kind of like how she turned out. Her hair is a deep blue because i definitely didn't want to do something bright, considering the tone of the piece, and the blue blends well with the black of her outfit. I'm quite pleased with how she came out, especially in such a short amount of time. And, just as a side note, this is the first time I've ever drawn someone from the back.
I'm not sure that this is in the proper category, but I have created a Phantom of the Opera WinAmp skin, so I thought I'd share it with everyone. You would have been able to see it if deviantart didn't take it down. I can't remember where it is now, but if I find it, I'll put it up.
