Reading:
Reading is my favorite past-time.  I especially love reading fantasy fiction written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.  Dan Simmons  is another great author, although he's more sci-fi.  L.E. Modesitt's novels of Recluse are quite good, as well. Terry Pratchett is hilarious and very enjoyable to read.
A book that I would highly recommend is the novelization of Star Wars: Episode Three.  It is truly wonderful.

Movies:
My two favorite movie series are Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.  My favorite Star Wars movie is Attack of the Clones (if you can ignore Anakin), Revenge of the Sith if you can't.  I don't really have an absolute favorite movie, however, but did you see Pirates of the Caribbean?  Wow..  Other movies that I have at least some love for are The Princess Bride (<3), Office Space, Austin Powers, Batman Begins (mmm), Interview with the Vampire, O Brother, Where Art Thou, and Phantom of the Opera (I did HATE actor who played the Phantom, though)  Viggo Mortensen is my favorite actor, but Ewan McGregor is pretty high on the list, along with Harrison Ford, Richard Dean Anderson, and Johnny Depp.  I don't really have a favorite actress except NOT NICOLE KIDMAN!
Right now, I'm moderately into anime.  There are a lot of really good ones out there, but Trigun will always have a special place in my heart.  Vash is my hero!  Some other great anime are Blood+, InuYasha, Honey & Clover, the Hellsing OVA, Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto (at the beginning), Bleach, Mushishi, Kino's Journey, Legend of Basara, Gakuen Alice, Chrno Crusade, Cowboy Bebop, Fruits Basket, Full Metal Panic!, Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu, Samurai Champloo, 100 Stories, and Read or Die TV and OVA.  Teen Titans is altogether too addictive.  Firefly rules. But, there are other great shows out there as well, slightly less off the beaten path.  For example, Stargate SG-1, The X-Files, MacGyver,  and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  I like sci-fi and fantasy, in case you couldn't tell.

Television:
Hmmm.  Manga.  Yay!  So much manga out there is better than the anime that is made from it.  Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach, Hellsing, Trigun Maximum, the original Yu-Gi-Oh, Fruits Basket, and even something like Gakuen Alice are all examples of that principle.  Some other manga that I really enjoy:
Azumanga Daioh                   Basara
Blood+                                      Bejing Opera
Chrno Crusade                       D.Gray-Man
Detective Conan (
<3)            DN Angel
Full Metal Panic!                     Gintama
Heroes Are Extinct                 Inuyasha
Ludwig Kakumei                    Mieru Hito
Magic Kaito                              Mushishi
Nanaki                                     One Thousand and One Nights
Petshop of Horrors                Read or Dream
SA                                             Tactics
Violenist of Hameln               Wallflower
Zombie Loan                          Zombie Powder
