| 18th January - Ellis's puppies are now four and a half weeks old. Since last week, they have started really moving around, playing and eating solids. They have also been introduced to the outdoors, in our special puppy pen. |

| Ellis now leaves the box for longer and longer periods of time but still carefully looks after her puppies and makes sure they are safe and fed. Although the girls have started solids, they still feed from Ellis as well. Ellis is happy, proud and healthy. |
 |
| The girls still sleep a lot but have been introduced to the outdoors in our special puppy pen that has a boxed shelter area and a caged deck. Another week and they will be out on the grass. See more about thier progress on Page 2. |
