Limitations In Lucifer's Breastplate

Back to the temple in heaven, we need to examine Lucifer and his covering before he fell. This is found in Ezekiel 28:

Eze 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

Eze 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Eze 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

The priest after the order of the Levitical priesthood had a breastplate covering which had twelve stones, and we see above that Lucifer had only nine of these twelve stones on its breastplate covering. The twelve stones on the priests breastplate corresponded to each of the twelve tribes of Israel, the sons of Jacob:

Exo 28:15 And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shalt thou make it.

Exo 28:17 And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, even four rows of stones: the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this shall be the first row.

Exo 28:18 And the second row shall be an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.

Exo 28:19 And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.

Exo 28:20 And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their enclosings.

Exo 28:21 And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.

Comparing the two lists, we see the three stones the priest had, but Lucifer did not:

The three stones missing on Lucifer's covering was the Ligure, the Agate and the Amethyst. Which three sons of Jacob did these three stones correspond to, and what was the meaning? Again, we saw from Exodus that each of the stones on the breastplate of the priest correspond to one of each of the twelve sons of Jacob:

Exo 28:21 And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.

The order of the sons of Jacob is established in Genesis 49, and the order of the gemstones is established in Exodus 28:

In Genesis 49, Jacob was prophesying over each of his twelve sons. The three stones missing from Lucifer's covering, as seen above, correspond with Gad, Asher and Issachar. Looking at the prophecies spoken over each of these three sons, we see something amazing regarding WHY Lucifer was PURPOSELY not given these stones:

1. Gad:

Gen 49:19 Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.

MEANING: Lucifer would never be an overcomer, and he will not overcome at the last.

2. Asher:

Gen 49:20 Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.

MEANING: Lucifer would never yield anything royal, including a royal seed.

3. Issachar:

Gen 49:14 Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens:

MEANING: Lucifer would never be able to bear anyone's burden.

When God formed Lucifer in the beginning of time, he left off this third row of stones, long before the sons of Jacob were born. He put limitations on him from the beginning, and in the process, God said, "Lucifer, you're never going to be an overcomer, you will never produce any royal seed, and you will never bear anyone's burden!"

So, from the description in Ezekiel 28, it appears that in the beginning, Lucifer was created as a priest offering a sacrifice of praise and worship through the tabrets and pipes created within his physical structure. He would come before the presence of God in the holy mountain, walking among the stones of fire, bringing the angels and giving God glory, praise and honor. Because of his beauty, however, he was lifted up with pride, and he fell.
