Not "deadly' serious though, the Bible Studies are quite humorous. What follows is one man's opinions. Some of the ideas expressed here will be way too extreme for most people. And it concerns me that many otherwise kind and compassionate people may turn away from the Real Wild Church because they disagree with one or more of the ideas expressed.

Please let me make it perfectly clear that I don't expect anyone to agree with everything I've said. Humanitarian progress is slow, and the world isn't going to change overnight. The biggest obstacle will be my ideas about parenting. Most parents insist on the right to hit their children, in the name of "discipline." And few people would see anything wrong in, for example, game fishing, or horse racing. Let's face it, whoever heard a fish or a horse complain? And it's a rare man who thinks that space exploration is a waste of money, anyone who says such a thing has got to be a bit loopy, possibly a Luddite!

But bear in mind, had I launched the RWC two-hundred years ago, people would be incredulous that I'm opposed to slavery. They'd say to me, "It's in the Bible, for Christ's sake! It must be OK if God says it's OK!" But as time has passed we've learned otherwise. Well, most of us have.

And so I'm just putting these ideas out there, in the hope that they might influence some people. There urgently needs to be a cultural shift towards kindness and compassion for children and animals. And if there aren't some religious/political changes pretty damned soon, the whole planet is fucked. Provided you agree with the general thrust of what's presented here, join us, even if you take issue with some of my coarse language and "weird" ideas.
