The forum section of the Realm of Silvenus have four different message boards. Fun/Joking , D&D/Rules, Online - post by post - adventures and Hall oof Heroes.
There are a few rules you must follow to join the message boards of The Realm of Silvanus... Please read the rules and then click "I Agree With the rules"!
Rules:
Note: The moderators donate their own time. They are not paid, so they have no tolerance for people that violate the rules. The rules are simple and there is no excuse for violating any of them.
1 - Be respectful at all times. If someone disagrees with you, remember to respect their right to their own opinion. This works both ways, however. Don't be forceful or rude when expressing your opinion. Obscene or sexual references will not be tolerated. This forum is family friendly. If you want to talk with a filthy mouth, do it somewhere else. If you don't like it, see rule #2.2 - Don't whine. Whining will not be tolerated. We don't want to hear your ranting and raving about irrelevant issues and neither does anyone else.
3 - Respect the authority of moderators and admins. If you don't like something that an admin or moderator did, e-mail them in private. DO NOT complain about a deleted post or moved topic in the forums. Moderators are not babysitters, although we feel like that sometimes. We don't have time to inform everyone about why a post was moved or deleted. Also, see rule #2.
4 - Keep graphics size reasonable. If you use a graphic in your signature, keep it small (50x100 pixels MAXIMUM), no more than 10Kb, and NOT animated. If you post a large signature, you prevent others from downloading the pages quickly, especially modem users. Even if the file size is small, large-sized graphics are annoying and take up more real-estate than the post. Animated posts are just plain annoying. Remember, this graphic is going to be seen by a lot of people *many* times. Play nice.
Enforcing the Rules
All moderators will delete, move and archive posts as they see fit. If your post is offensive, it will be edited or removed as appropriate. Also, completely useless posts will be removed as well. In other words, don't reply to a message with "ok" or "cool". Those kinds of posts are utterly pointless. If your post was removed and you think it was not in violation of the rules, contact the moderator via e-mail. If you continue to violate the rules, you will be banned from the forums. We just don't have time to listen to disrespectful people. See rule #2.
