I know this story may come off as a bit corny to a lot of people but I wanted to share it anyway. It concerns me and the process of building this website. I hope you enjoy it and try not to laugh too much.

Well, here we go. If you read the first page of this website you'll know that I am not part of a wealthy family. It seems there is always some obstacle to overcome in everything I do. Building this website was no exception. I had the idea that I wanted to build a website years ago. I never knew how to create one that could earn an income and so I never really attempted it. I've had high speed internet on and off for a few years now but still never really knew how to generate an income from home. I was working and never had the time to research it. A few months ago I had our cable service turned back on and browsed around to try and get some idea of how to do it. Well, we were only able to keep the service a short while. Our previous provider merged with another company and the bill jumped up nearly twenty dollars more than it was. Horrible!!! Needless to say our service was soon disconnected due to being a couple of months behind. I tried to milk that extra time for all it was worth! I came across a few helpful sites but nothing of relevance at the time. We finally caught up on a few bills and decided we would like to pay our previous internet bill and get our service up and running again. We went to see how much we owed so we could pay the bill a few days later. After coming home that day we received a knock on the door. The service provider had sent out someone who said they could have our service turned back on that day and we wouldn't have to pay our old bill by using them to do so. Wonderful!!! We finally caught some kind of break. Of course we chose their option to re-establish service. It was much cheaper and we received a promotion in which we were able to get digital cable and high speed internet for less than the previous monthly charges. This promotion was for six months and I just knew we could handle it for that amount of time and afterward we could just choose one or the other to keep. Well, here comes the story of my life. It had been only a month and a half into the service and we received our first bill in which they had added the old bill which was supposed to be deleted. At this time I had finally started finding some relevant topics and useful information to which I could to create an income at home. Now it was looking like all that research was going down the drain because we couldn't afford the bill, once again. I had even started building this website doing the research as I went along and adding the information to the site as I found it. I was starting to feel hopeless once again. Yep, this is the way it is for us in everything we try to accomplish. I had pretty much given up on finishing this website. I put it aside and figured it was just best to forget it. I had lost another battle and didn't feel like putting up a fight this time. I still had ideas jumping into my head when I would try to go to sleep at night but simply shrugged them off so I could try and get some sleep. It went on this way for a while and then came a turning point for me. My wife and I bought a new movie and decided to watch it one night. "The Pursuit of Happyness" with Will Smith. I don't know if it was just me or what but I felt inspired by this movie. So much that I immediately decided to finish this website, and so I have. I'm not sure if it was simply because I understood the feeling of being desperate or what, but I knew after seeing the movie that I would at least pursue until this site was finished and not give up without something of a fight. I encourage anyone that may in the same situation to do so also. Don't give up just because you feel something may be too hard or because it seems out of reach. If you decide to leave this website without at least trying some of the programs in which I worked so hard to obtain, then please bookmark this site and then watch that movie. If any of you are in the same position I was in, DON'T GIVE UP WITHOUT A FIGHT!! There is no need to prove anything to others, but you need to prove it to yourself that you can do it. You can succeed and you will have all my hopes and prayers that you in fact do.
