Istanbul
City of Mosques

Istanbul is a city full of history and unspoken truths. Formerly Constantinople, it has gone through many periods of change - from culture to religion. At one time, this city was considered to be one of the top capital cities of the world. It is making its way back to that prestige and it is no surprise. From busy modern business structures and McDonald's around the corner to old churches and small alleyways where potato street vendors sell a late night snack, the city is distinct in its living culture.

3 Side (pronounced "Si-day") Hotel - the place we stayed at in Istanbul. 2 minute walk away from the Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace, and the Blue Mosque. Breakfast was on the balcony of the hotel and the view was breathtaking. 4
