| Friends Make The World Go 'Round |
| I suppose a teenager's webpage really isn't a webpage until she puts something on it about how much her dear friends mean to her. I agree with this wholeheartedly, and if I had any real friends, I would undoubtedly make a page dedicated to them. I guess I could make a page devoted solely to my mere casual acquaintances, but what fun would that be? I'd have to list every person I've ever come in contact with. Do you know how long that would take me? No, I won't be mean. I'll make a page for those people who are close to me, and I'll try not to be too overly sarcastic while I'm doing it. Well, first and foremost there's Katie, but there's already a page for her. Coming in a close second is my new friend, Shannon. I hope she doesn't mind that I'm including her on my humble webpage. Shannon is an amazing person, and I'm very glad that I'm getting to know her. Chances are, I'll have a page especially for her very soon. After Shannon there's Sarah. Sarah and I have a very odd friendship. Well, to most people it would appear a very conventional friendship, but I think that's what makes it so weird to me. I'm not used to having "normal, average" friends, so she's definitely played a part in keeping me sane. I of course could never forget Billy. He is a wonderful friend, when he wants to be that is. If you don't mind phone calls not being returned, or dates being cancelled, then he is absolutely the friend for you. Besides all that though, he is a wonderful person and very proud of who he is. I must say that I admire him a great deal. I could never tell him that though, just for the simple fact that his head would swell to the size of a beach ball. As far as that goes, that's pretty much it for my "Friends Page". I know it's not much, but then again, there aren't many people who I consider "friends". There are a select few, and they mean the world to me. To me, I'd rather have just a few really close, intimate friends than a whole barrage of meaningless people who claim to be "friends". I don't know if that makes sense to anyone, but that's the way I view friendship. I'll do absolutely anything for the friends I have, and they know that. I love them all dearly, and I wouldn't trade them for anything. After all, friends make the world go 'round. |
