I:
-- received my ABJ in Public Relations and
Publication Management from the University of
Georgia and my MS in Public Relations from
Syracuse University.
-- will soon be starting my doctoral studies at the
University of Florida.
-- wrote my undergradate honors thesis on "The
Ethics of Fund Raising."
-- wrote my master's thesis on "Social Distance
and the Third Person Effect's Influence on
Fund-Raising Communication."
-- have four main research interests: Fund
Raising, AIDS communication strategies, the
Third Person Effect, and sociological changes
in Disney's animated films.
-- have presented research papers at the
Association for the Education of Journalism and
Mass Communication, the Popular Culture
Association, the American Communication
Association, the International Society for the
Scientific Study of Subjectivity, and the
American Anthropological Association.
-- have published in American Anthropologist.
-- desire to write a textbook on market research
strategies and techniques for public relations
students.
