Need to get a life? Well here�s your chance! 25ACU is an Australian Army Cadet unit located at the Army Depot in Erina, opposite Erina highschool. We parade every Friday night during the school term from 18:30 to 22:00 (6:30pm to 10pm). We also go on weekend camps,and on a week long annual camp with all other cadet units in NSW in the July school holidays. As a cadet you get to experience a wide range of activities and learn a whole heap of new skills such as survival, first aid, navigation and drill. You will also learn to be confident, self sufficient and learn how to lead and be in a team environment. Cadets are issued with all the gear they need for free! However it must be returned when they leave. Unlike most sports or activities, army cadets isn�t expensive! It is only $30 per term! Plus other small costs for camps and some extra activities. Come along one Friday night to have a look! To Join the AAC (Australian Army cadets) you must: * Be a resident of Australia. * Be ages between 12 and a half and 18 years old. * Provide a copy of your birth certificate for proof of age. * Not be a member of any other cadet corps. * Not be a member of the Australian Defence Force. Note: The Australian army cadets has strong links to the Australian Army, but are NOT a part of the military. Cadets do not go to war and there are no expectations for cadets to join the military.
