Placing Strategy Placing cetain buildings/employees in certain areas will effect your guest's mood, and hunger/thirst. Placing your employees in specific areas will allow them to get to rides (for a mechanic) to fix them quicker. First, lets start with placing a rollercoaster. I suggest placing a rollercoaster in an open area where you can build around it. If it is a very intense ride, the extra space will give you room for more calm rides, which will give your guests the guts to go on the larger rides. For mechanics, I suggest hiring one mechanic for every 3 rides. Make the mechanic pace between the three rides so that you don' have a million mechanics all over your park, taking them like 6 years to get to a ride. Remember, the longer it takes to fix a ride, you lose money. About entertainers...I don't usually hire these, but if a ride has a very long queue line, and you see people yawning, hire an entertainer, and make him pace along the queue line. The guests won't get as bored, and won't leave the line. For handymen, I suggest that you make two thirds of your handymen pace along certain areas, like exits to rollercoasters, areas with restuarants, and places where you have placed flowers. For the other third of your handymen, let them walk around your park and clean he stuff up that the other two thirds missed. NEVER let your handymen mow your grass. To remove your grass of long grass, take out the shovel, set it to grass and as big as the area gets, and then just click on the area you need to clear. Guests are very demanding about food and such, so this is what I suggest you do. Have 2 food courts with every stall you can get (except maybe for souvenir), the second stall should be on the other side of your park for guests that have reached that area of your park. I also suggest that you place bathrooms around your park, because guests may not be able to reach another bathroom in time. Always place your pathways underground! Pathways are a huge waste of space, so if you have the money and skill to place paths underground, then do it. That concludes my placing strategy.
