ROTAQUIZ, Oratorical and Improptu
Speaking Contest An activity that promotes goodwill and fellowship among students in our community. Five schools participated in the 3 competitions: Los Baņos National High School (LBNHS), South Hill, St. Francis of Assisi, LB Community National High School and Colegio de Los Baņos. Among the First and Second prizes, we chose our club representatives to the area-group level competition. AREA 1 GROUP2 LEVEL Competition -Hosted by RC of Bay Our candidate in RotaQuiz , Roma Andrea Terocha, a student of LB National HS, won second place in a very tight competition. She is running valedictorian in her graduating class. Her coach-teacher is Ms. Aida Bejo. We fielded Mary Grace Deangkinay in the Oratorical contest. She is from LB Community National HS. She did well, but the competition was great. She may not have won, but, she felt elated by the unique experience. Her coach-teacher is Ms. Magdalena Lorea. Our club gave both of them cash prizes and medals for representing our club well. More photos... |
