YES-1 develops youth leaders who will take the lead in protecting and caring for the environment. Participants, mostly university and high school students, undergo environmental conservation training and values enhancement through an 18-module course.

Young Entrepreneur Savers (YES-2)

YES-2 targets young adults and students who want to pursue careers in business. RCLB Makiling arms participants with life and business skills that would help prepare them to become good entrepreneurs and for future jobs. |
Livelihood Seminars

Training and education are key strategies used to provide service to the community and its many partners. Mothers, school children, in-school and out-of-school youths, and other beneficiaries are given seminars on various topics to provide them with skills for earning a living or additional family income.

Maginoong Driver

RCLB Makiling launched a multisectoral and multi-institutional communication and educational campaign to help educate drivers and passengers about safe and defensive driving, local traffic ordinances, and driving etiquette; and to instill discipline and cooperation among drivers. |
Medical Mission

In collaboration with youth partners, its RCC (Sisters’ Club), Lyceum of the Philippines, and the Laguna Medical Society, the club helped provide medical services and medicines for its 160 children-beneficiaries from PASLIT Day Care Center and Kiddie Learning Center in Brgy Tuntungin, Los Baños. |
Gawad Kalinga

RCLB Makiling is one of the many supporters of GK Los Baños Ville, which will provide housing and livelihood opportunities for 240 poor families. More than just contributing to setting up this socialized housing project, the Club would also lead the implementation of livelihood interventions. |
Dental Awareness Program and Dental Kit Distribution

RCLB Makiling is partnering with dentists from the local community to promote dental awareness among preschool and young school-aged kids, provide dental kits and free dental services. |
Scholarship Grants

The youth is the centerpiece of many RCLB Makiling projects. This year, the club is supporting two scholars enrolled in a government-owned state university. In previous years, the club supported the education of two high school students who moved on to college to finish their degrees. |
