| CLUB PROFILE |
| The Rotary Club of Los Ba�os was chartered on December 12, 1971 as the 49th club in District 3820 and was the progeny of the Rotary Club of Calamba. The club meets every Thursday at 6:00 pm. It has just moved to a new venue at the Caf� Maquiling coffee shop of Anest Tower building located at 10411 Lopez Avenue, Los Ba�os, Laguna. Meeting dues is P100 inclusive of dinner and complimentary drinks. If the member does not wish to avail of the meal, he only needs to pay P40 for the club. There are currently 29 members ranging in age from early 30s to mid 60s. Many are from the University of the Philippines at Los Ba�os but a number are also from the business community. All members are male. Membership dues is P3,000 paid in installment every semester. The club bulletin is called Tinig Makiling and comes out every week for the weekly meetings. It is a simple magazine type bulletin which features the president�s message, secretary�s report, miscellaneous articles, songs for the week, the 4-way test and announcements. |
