Selectees and chiefs join in for "Anchors Aweigh" at the summit. | The celebration at
the summit of Fuji varied depending on when you made it to the
top. I got up there a little past noon; some had been there a good
half-hour before. After lunch, we posed for snapshots with each
other and sang "Anchors Aweigh." That was our primary
goal. Then we climbed back down. Although I took no pictures
during the descent, let me assure you that it was much harder going down
than coming up. It was incredibly steep.
