Selectees and chiefs join in for "Anchors Aweigh" at the summit. The celebration at the summit of Fuji varied depending on when you made it to the top.  I got up there a little past noon; some had been there a good half-hour before.  After lunch, we posed for snapshots with each other and sang "Anchors Aweigh."  That was our primary goal.  Then we climbed back down.  Although I took no pictures during the descent, let me assure you that it was much harder going down than coming up.  It was incredibly steep.

I'm glad that this climb up Fuji-san went well, because I'm never doing that again...
