The Math curriculum for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten includes:

The Kindergarten Math Curriculum uses Saxon's primary mathematics series. It is a "hands-on", success-oriented program that emphasize manipulative and mental math. It addresses the multi-sensory approach to teaching and is designed for heterogeneously grouped children. The objective is to enable all children to develop a solid foundation in the language of mathematics and basic concepts.

Our math curriculum is integrated with our thematic units and spans from basic color, shape and size positioning through money, estimation, graphing and addition/ subtraction readiness. Daily calendar activities provide additional exploration with number concepts.

The curriculum takes a "hands on" approach to acquiring math skills. It is a success-orientated program that emphasizes manipulatives and cognitive math while utilizing a multisensory approach. This program offers the children a balance of hands-on exploration and application of skills with games and workbook practice.

Individual groups are also formed based on ability. Groups will meet with the teacher to develop, review, and enhance individual skills of the students.
