In my opinion, a drive along Route 398 in Hanayama Village during autumn is one of the classic drives in Miyagi Prefecture. For people not acquainted with Miyagi geography, Hanayama-mura is near Naruko-cho and lies on the border of Miyagi and Akita Prefecture. This spot here is about 5 or 6 km up the road from main part of Hanyama Village (a JHS, Village Office and one convenience store).
