This was one of the first autumn photos that I took in Tohoku, Japan. This photo was taken of some ricefields in Taiwa-cho with four of the Nanatsu Mori in the background. My good buddy, Chris, is posing with the bike that the local Board of Education lent me. However, I decided to buy a proper bike with 21 gears instead of three available on the "mama chari". October is certainly a good month to be in Tohoku with the golden ricefields on the plains and the colourful autumn foliage up in the mountains. Hey Chris, I better you don't remember posing for this photo in our first months as Miyagi ALTs.
