The Nanatsu Mori is the Japanese name given to a series of seven hills located in Taiwa-cho in Miyagi Prefecture. I lived in Ohira-mura next to Taiwa-cho for three years, so the Nanatsu Mori was one of my favourite places for a bushwalk. I think I walked in the Nanatsu Mori around 8 or 9 times when I lived in Ohira Village. Here's a photo of a tree that exhibited particularly vivid orange leaves. I think some of the colour and detail have been lost in this scanned photo.
