I am Ravi Shankar Sundaram ,a B.tech(Hons) student of the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur .
The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is one of the premier institutes in India especially for Engineering.It also offers courses in management ,information technology and recently even medicine.Located in a small town of West Bengal ,Kharagpur is an ideal place for such an Institute, with its calm environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
I was born on the 22nd of May in the year 1984 in a Tamil Brahmin's family in Mumbai (formerly Bombay) but I have spent all my life after I was born ,in Hyderabad untill I cleared the IIT-JEE 2002 and got admission into IIT Kharagpur.My Father ,Mr. P.S.Sundaram is a businessman here at Hyderabad and my mother, Mrs. Radha Sundaram is a house wife . We are a small family with just me and my parents as the members.
| High school .... I did all my schooling at Niraj Public School ,Ameerpet Hyderabad. I completed my class 10 from here .This school was affiliated to ICSE board i.e, Indian School Certificate Examination Board. |
Pre College ...... This system is prominent in Hyderabad ,the 2 years after 10th standard ii.e, 11th and 12th is reagrded as Intermediate first year and Intermediate second year under the Board of Intermediate Education,Andhra Pradesh .I have completed these two years from S.R.M Junior College ,Dilsuknagar ,Hyderabad. |
| Academic Interests... I am basically intersted in research in materials science and research based on nanomaterials in particular .After Under graduation at IIT Kharagpur, I would I like to pursue Higher studies in the field of materials science. |
