The Eye Of My Storm -
Keisha Dawn
My storm comes and goes and has nothing to do with your woes
I can't blame you for my windy days and rainy nights,
The creation for the eye of my hurricane stems from pain not let go of
when the
time was right.
So what! I have dusty desert storms.
I should have chosen happiness instead of being content with the time
being.
Instead, tornadoes emerged from the womb of my longing and demolished
every
inch of my wanting.
My needing now is the part of my soul I'm sheltering from this weathered
out
storm.
Pretty soon my long stormy night will turn into a sun-shining day.
All because I weathered the eye of my storm.
