A light flares within the darkness
Temporarily revealing
A face in the mirror.
His eyes show no feeling,
As he stares blankly at me.
There is no recognition there.
I look into those eyes
And see his soul.
It�s darkness crowds and isolates me.
I fear what demon roams within the dark.
What creature of hell could have such dark nothingness
Within its self?
My eyes strain to focus on the shadow
Within the shadows, but fails.
