| Welcome! Here are some simple personal works on satellite meteorology - TOVS and AVHRR products where both make use of data from NOAA polar orbiter satellites. Other works are given as links to other sites. Some interesting satellite images are also presented here including land-use applications. | A rare storm near the coasts of Santa Catarina (SC) and Rio Grande do Sul (RS) at the south of Brazil. Image acquired at 17:14 UT on March 25, 2004 from NOAA-16 data. The eye of the storm was at 28.7 degrees South and 41.9 degrees West. |
