Welcome! Here  are some simple personal works on satellite meteorology - TOVS and AVHRR products where both make use of data from NOAA polar orbiter satellites.

A rare storm near the coasts of Santa Catarina (SC) and Rio Grande do Sul (RS) at the south of Brazil. Image acquired at 17:14 UT on March 25, 2004 from NOAA-16 data. The eye of the storm was at 28.7 degrees South and 41.9 degrees West.
