This rat has made it all possible. This rat has convinced my mom to like rats. At first, he couldn't even come inside the house. Now, he roams freely everywhere and anywhere. He is well trained (mostly self-trained). He does not poop outside of his cage or litter box. He does not chew anything of mine (except for the occational pillow or something). If he does chew something, it is very minor. One time, I forgot to put him back in his cage one night and he spent the night on my computer desk. I woke up to find everything in it's proper place, with no poop or pee anywhere. Also, another time, I had put him on my bed and then left the room. He has explored, gone behind my computer (you know how many wires those have), wandered around my Playstation 2, and NEVER pooped or chewed anything. He is a great companion. He even got along with a little mouse. I've heard lots of stories about rats killing mice, but when I put them together, I hadn't heard of anything like that. They got along fine, sleeping together, sharing food, etc. This rat is wonderful. |
