Story

Hello my name is Edward Son and I was one of the few survivors of the Titanic and I'm going to tell you what all went down on the massive 46,000 ton ship. April 10th 1912, I am waiting for the captain to come outside. Cold and extremely tired he finally comes out. ¨All aboard!” the Captain, the person who steered the ship, yelled. I was one the first group to get on the Titanic because I was near the bridge of the Titanic on the top floor. As as I was walking to my room past the bridge of the Titanic I dropped my ticket. In frustration, I dropped my bags. As I was failing to pick up my ticket I felt a set of eyes creepily staring at me. I looked, and it was the co-captain, a person to helps the main captain control the boat. I in a mad tone said ¨Yes!¨, he just turned around and went into another room. I continued making my way to my room, passing the heated saltwater pool. I got to my room, room 83 right next to the pool, and took a nap. 9:30am, I wake up by the sound of the ship turning on, still tired just not as tired. I was pretty hungry so I walked outside and slowly made my way to the cafeteria. Walking slowly, I turned the corner. I looked to the right of me and there the co-captain was staring, but not at me, at another person just walking. I decided not to say anything and just keep walking.

11:00am, The chefs finally started to hand out brunch, which is a mix between breakfast and lunch. They served tender rotisserie chicken with tater tots, and mac and cheese. The food was alright, and every once in a while a waiter would ask ¨Would you like some more,¨ or “do you need anything else” which was pretty nice. But the one problem I had were the seats. They were pretty hard and uncomfortable, but I wasn't in the cafeteria for that long so it was ok 11:30am, I was walking back to my room when I saw an old lady who lost her dog. She could yell that loud so I asked her what her dogs name was Henry, I yelled for him and Henry, the dog, came when I called him. As I was walking back I noticed the co-captain yelling at something, so I looked inside the bridge of the titanic, which was the control room. I looked in side and saw that he was talking to no one and saying “shut up!”, or “Please stop!”. He turned around and saw me. I ran to my room and locked the door. 11:45am The co-captain knocked on my door, I hesitantly opened it since I was much bigger than the co-captain and he had no weapons. He explained that he was talking to his wife on the radio. I said “Oh ok” and closed the door. Something deep down was saying not to believe him, but I chose to ignore it and go to sleep, though it was early I was still tired.

April 11th-14th 1912, the past three days were pretty much the same. All I did was swim eat and go to sleep. Today is Saturday, but tomorrow is the day of the crash. 1:45am, I randomly woke up laying in my bed feeling hungry, I tried to go back to sleep, but I just couldn't. After a while I decided to go to the snack bar, which was still open luckily. I put on my shoes and I started walking down the hall. As I was passing the bridge of the ship I heard shouting, but this time I heard two voices. I peered in the room and it was the captain and the co-captain, the captain yelled “why are you doing this!” and the co-captain calmly says “because I feel like it” then smacks the captain in the head with a wrench. The captain falls to the floor not dead, but unconscious. I yelled “WHAT ARE YOU DOING!” and he started to run I grabbed the wrench and I bopped him in the back of the head, he also fell unconscious, but it was too late, I looked out the window of the bridge and there it was, the massive iceberg only about ten yards in front of the ship , I noticed the captain started moving so I lifted him up and started to run, right as I was exiting the bridge I felt a crash, the entire ship lifted upwards. I started to slide down the hallway, and noticed that the water was exactly parallel to the window. I grabbed onto railing and broke it. I threw the broken railing at the window, the window shattered, and me and the captain fell out about 800ft before hitting the water. April 16th 1912, The last thing I remembered was waking up in the hospital, with the captains bed beside me thinking about what could of happened if I didn't wake up.
