DIVING FOR THE DEAF

Diving for the Deaf Program has been a passion of Natalie Billiard (nee Smith) and Di Smith, and both were instrumental in bring the Diving for the Deaf program to Diving Queensland. |

| R.A.P.S Diving Club Inc
has been delivering the services of the Diving for the Deaf program in conjunction with Diving Queensland and DSRQ for the past two years in Brisbane. |
|||
| This Program has
been developled to benefit the Deaf Community by way of allowing access to specialised sport and recreation training and participation opportunities otherwise not catered for. In particular the program is focused on deaf and CODA (children of deaf Adults) childrens sporting development opportunities within the Bisbane area and proactively benefit the community via promoting tolerance and acceptance of people with disabilities. |

| As Diving Queensland
will be directing its funding to other parts of the State for this program in 2010, R.A.P.S Diving Club will run the program in Brisbane and will be looking for assistance from the Business Community by way of funding, to keep the program running in 2010 and beyond. |
