Never explain-your friends do not need it and your enemies will not believe
you anyway.
 I concider myself not so lucky person ,but there is still one department where god has not made me feel miserable when one comes to my friendship kiosk.And, really god has graced me with friends of all possible hue and colors.Might be-this should be the reason why I,m termed as assortment of personalities and moods, one will not find so easily in one mortal.But any way neither I,m here to be philosphical or nor to describe myself in bloated terms.So talking of friendship it should be very accurate if I will say it's an spontaneous phenomenon and that you cannot earn friends in an deliberate way.Tell you why??Because, once, when I was in class three I had tried my best to strike friendship with my teacher's-thinking it would fetch me good marks but the trick never worked magic for me,and I realised this simple fact at that small and tender age.what you say!!!.
Sonu(alias Kishore Kumar),Babu( Amit Chakarborty),Sonu-junior,Pintu,Rinku,Manish
were some of my friends I had during the children phase of my life.Sonu was two year senior to me(now,I Civil Engg. graduate from Roorkie university) and was a sort of mentor to me.He, at many times, helped me in getting my home work prepared in time or getting some some science fundas-absorbed.One of the science basics he explained to me was,"water vapour is present every where in atmosphere" by the same of example of glass tumbler and ....While this may sound very funny and obvious sort of funda, it's was not-given me tender age of eight or nine years-easy to get.He was also a great sporty personality and played almost all the games.Babu,manish were of my age and incidentally studied in the same school also.Sonu was junior to me-and I don't remember exactly how much.(now he has started his own business).pintu was also my age and studied in kendriya-vidyalya.Rinku was senior to me by one class in D.A.V.All of us use to play '"Pitto","Kho-Kho","kabaddi","Chua-Chui","Cricket","football" etc together and some other kids-to supplement the team.But the
most favourite game of ours was rolling tyres on road.And, this none of
our parent-in home-admired.while babu is strugling to do M.B.A, I donno
what pintu rinku and manish are doing now.
Away in school I had got some funny,crazy and yet loving friends.Ranjay-1(I
was Ranjay-2 in my class),Ravinder,Neeraj kumar neeru,Praveen-1,Praveen-2,Prosenjit
biswas,Subrato,Manish,Anjani,Vikas,Santosh,Sanjeev Kundan-to name a few-happened
to be my pals waiting there.We all enjoyed the most when it come to be
the recess hour.We all always hated the bell that anounced the end of recess.There
most of our time ended up discussing the latest film or chatting about
the fight of Amitabh bachhan, for we all were his greatest fan.During recess
we shared our tiffins together and munched the all mixed stuff together.During class also we were not able to restrain ourselve from sinfull commenting like,"wow!!madam is looking really sexy" and similar other not-so-good comments.Here, it's worthhile to mention
the calling name of some of my these dear friends.Praveen-1 was lovingly
called shraabi and because this name was coined by praveen-2;praveen-1 taking counter move named him as juari.These names were so famous and known in my school that sometime even gals reffered them, unconciously, by this name.I had also commited faux-pas numerous time by asking their mother whether juari or sharabi was in home.And then I took defensive position that this is the nick name of some other guy.I donno whether their mom know their 'this' name or not.But the notable thing here is that while many of us, after schooling, consumed liquor at social get together Sharabi is still a perfect example of teetoteller.He was named only because he had a noticeable high and heavy accent(resembling drunkard),whenever he was asked by the teacher to read out some paragraph from book.Sharabi did his bachelors in electronics from R.E.C Calicut and is currently working in Digital Software corporation.subrato is in merchant navy while anjani is pursuing his M.C.A from gaziabad techinical institute.Vikas is posted in icy terrain of Siachin-after doing M.B.B.S from Armed forced mediacl college,Pune.Sanjeev kundan is doing electonics engg from maulana azad engg. in patna and santosh is doing M.B.B.S from Kasturba gandhi medical college,Manipal-Mahe Univ.Santosh has developed himself into a great dancer while no such change I have observed in Sanjeev Kundan as his noticeable shy quality is still predominant.Dr. Dhananjay Sinha has completed MBBS from King George Medical College, Lucknow (K.G.M.C). Though the name of college has changed few times dear Huh!! friend dk is still rollicking in Lucknow.
In m.i.t I got some fantastic friends, the not so exclusive list of which includes Akhilesh kumar,Mukul,Dinesh,Vinay,Priyaranjan,Hemant kumar singh,Narendra nath jajware,Shadab Anwar,Guru,Aslam,Vibhay,Rohit,Arsad Hussain,prabhat sir,Kamlesh sir,anjani,nillotam,manish,rishikesh and others.The names include my seniors and the juniors as well.They could also be safely put under the umbrella of the friendship as it's ragging only when you remember all these things-when they mattered the most.Otherwise after that wishfull day is gone every one is like friend.Prabhat sir and kamlesh are guru of mine as they keep guiding me for all the four year when we were together in institute.Now they have joined the famed National hydel power crporation.But, unluckily while kamlesh sir is in faridabad head office prabhat sir is doing his job in Teesta ,Sikkim -in solitary.I,m waiting for their wedding to get materailise as that will mean great fun and enjoyment.My Bookworm dost priyaranjan(alias jila) is pursuing his M.Tech in iit-kanpur and had already
tied knot last year.Not unsurprisingly he has done love marriage.But,He
turned out to be a great Chuppa-rustum as never ever he divulged to us
of seeing any girl or having any affair.Only a couple of weeks before his
marriage he exploded this bomb-shell.Shadab and jajware are also doing m.tech from iit-kanpur.Their was a time when we all use a good time on tea stall chatting little things and some time very very heavy things when dinesh(alias kaka) also happened to be with us.Vinay and hemant(lovingly reffered as hem-ba) are working in B.S.N.L and Neelachal ispat ltd respectively.while vinay,hemant and I represented the GURUKUL.The SURYAWANSAM comprised of Akhilesh,dinesh,mukul and priyanranjan.Both were like two
different school of thought.And, we let no oppurtunity go by- of cutting
jokes at each other.Arsad(alias mehsi)and Aslam(alias kanti babu)are in
indian oil and they are very lucky in the sense that they both have got
posting together in vadodra oil refinery.Vibhay is employed in HAL while
rohit after a short successfull stint with Telcon, has now joined iit-chennai
for doing his M.B.A.Dinesh has now joined SAIL(BOKARO) as Management Trainee,mukul is happy in NTPC(Farakka),akhilesh in MCD(Delhi).My 97 Batch junior Anjani and Nillotam are now comfortably ensconced in HAL albeit at different location.While Anjani is clinging to HAL kolkatta nillotam is bubbling in Bangalore.And, Recently adding one more feather to his cap anjani has jumped to another PSU gaint, that is, PGCIL.God knows when this restless creature will think of working for one company.Hemant has also left his first breadearner company and only some month back has joined NHPC in Chamera-1 project.Any guys thinking for a suitable honeymoon site Please give Hemant atleast one thought.Beleive me or not Chamera(Situated in Chamba Distt,H.P), I think, is good for nothing other than serving for a wonerfull honeymoon package.
