Episode One:
Welcome to the Boro
When his new dorm mate, Todd, offers to take him out to eat, Josh discovers that he is the Main course. After being alerted to the danger by fellow student Astrid, Josh is able to surprise the demon by fighting back, armed with a stake and a pistol - seems there's more to Josh than meets the eye!. Surprised that his "victim" is fighting back and hearing sirens, Todd makes a run for it. Only to run straight into a police car. Reacting quickly, the officer shoots the creature in the back as it reaches the treeline. Checking the scene, Officer Stephanie Branch discovers the creature dissolving before her eyes. Realizing something very odd is going on, Officer Branch covers up the situation from her superiors and has a long talk with Josh and Astrid.
Later, Dr Wingate, a paraplegic Professor, is showing off his new invention - cybernetic legs - to some potential financial backers from a Hospital Equipment Company. Realizing that they are actually associated with the military, Dr Wingate grows irate and refuses to discuss it further, stating that he designed the gear to help people, not to be used as a weapon. The Ranking Officer pulls a gun and informs Dr Wingate that he can either give him the gear and notes, or he'll simply take them. Dr. Wingate makes an escape attempt, however one of his lab assistants, Leroy is shot and severly injured. Only the timely help from the Junior Agent, Agent Goode, saves the Professor as he gathers up Leroy and makes good his escape.
Officer Branch, still on Campus, hears the gunshots and investigates, only to run across Agent Goode. After a brief moment of distrust and flashing of badges, the two decide to compare notes.
