While on an undercover assignment for The Initiative to gather information on cybernetic implants, Agent Cobb attempted to kill an innocent civilian. His junior partner, Agent Goode, was forced to shoot Cobb in the hand to save Leroy Lanks and Professor Nathan Wingate of Middle Tennessee State University.
While following a lead into Breanna's disappearance, the Boro heroes discovered Cobbs presence in Nashville. Covertly following him, Cobb was shocked to see Leroy at his doorstep. Realizing that his plans had gone south, Cobb attempted to escape. Leroy was able to follow too closely for Cobb to dispatch Breanna, but he was able to make good his get-a-way.
A couple of weeks later, Leroy was attacked by Cobb. Stabbing him through the back with a spear. Suspecting that Leroy was, in fact, a cyborg, Cobb waited for him to come back on-line and then followed him to Breanna's whereabouts. He surmised that Leroy would head to her to be repaired. Fortunantly, the rest of the gang arrived before he could attack the house.
Deciding to wait the group out, Cobb stayed hidden across the street. However, after repairing Leroy, Breanna mentioned that his attacker may have been recorded by Leroy's internal short-term computer. After checking the download, the gang realized that Cobb was able to become invisible. Saul was able to confirm that the government was romoured to have invisible assassins.
Stephanie said she'd like to check out the scene of the attack, but before the group left, Astrid was able to detect Cobbs presence across the street. Quietly informing Stephanie, the group set out to trap Cobb. At this point Josh grew antsy and rushed the spot where he believed Cobb to be. Josh was able to find the invisible Cobb, but was losing the fight when the rest of the group entered the picture. By splashing him with paint, the group was able to zero in on his location and take him down. Still trying to escape, Cobb was almost able to remove his painted vest before Leroy attacked him. Once Leroy reached him however, the fight was all but over. Leroy proceded to beat him severly before The Initiative suddenly arrived and reclaimed him.
The last that was known of Agent Cobb was him being carried away by The Initiative. It is not known if he was still alive at this point, as Leroy had beaten him severly. . .and Leroy is very strong.
