This is the granite memorial that will commemorate the lives of both of Solomon and Alice Hill.  Special thanks to my wife Kelli and son Luke for their help and to my parents, Kenneth and Myrtle Hill.  Thanks also to Ricky Faulk and Donald Hill their work in helping clean off the Hill cemetery.   We placed the stone on December 15, 1996.

Some may look at tombstones as being markers for dead people.  I look at them as monuments commemorating the life of the person.  When I saw my Great-great grandfather Solomon Hill's marker laying in ruin, I was touched to the very innermost part of my being to insure that future generations would have the opportunity to stand in front of a memorial for him and be able to say "That man lived."                    -Randy Hill
