The generation has been characterized in many ways by society. It
has been known for sexual immorality, murder, crime, drugs,
vulgarity, and many other atrocities. It has been known for its
technological advances. The technological advances are the most
positive things viewed by society, but our morality is under very
heavy scrutiny. Never do we hear of great family values and positive
influences. All we hear of criticism of our current leaders. We hear
of many scandals and other negative events that occur on daily
basis. Our role ,models are often exposed by the media to the point
that people who would influence are being driven away. What we have
left is nothing but controversy. Whether it is human nature or just
the way society thinks, we are being feed nothing but negative news.
Of course, that is only a general overview and there is a whole
galaxy of circumstances behind these events. Seldom are the intents
exposed unless they slander someone's name. Not just anybody's name,
but someone who was thought to be positive influence to society. It
has been negative, there have been many positive events in this
generation. This Generation has been very diligent in seeking the
truth. This truth has been used positively and it also has had a
negative effects Either way, it has brought about change in the way
we think as a whole. We strive not to be confused or misled by
others who want to lead us down the wrong paths. We are aware of the
propaganda of the past. We fight against these things before we jump
in to them. We look for better day as we open our minds to new
possibilities and ways of thinking. We fight for our freedom of
expression. These goals have always been the purpose of man, but as
the time unfolds, we see it clearly. In fact, the only real change
between this generation and the ones past, is technological advances
and higher awareness of our inner consciousness as individuals and
as whole. This Generation has been misled many times, but the
leaders of this false information have been exposed. It is very
ironic however, that the same people who have misled us are now with
the lies that they were fed in their time. It is very interesting to
me that the age of government has changed so little. Are you not
voting for the same people every year? And if we are, why don't we
feel responsible!?! The Biggest question these days are focused on
the direction we are going in as society. It seems as if allot of us
have been caught up in sensationalism so much that we have forgotten
out goals. We get too involved with experiments and petty
discoveries and forget why we are looking for new things in the
first place. We have to step back and review our motives, because
there are those who are striving to use progress in negative ways
that could effect us all individually. With our independent success,
we forget about our fellowman and the future we hope to create for
our offspring, to deal what is happening now, we must see that now
also includes the past and the future. So let us continue to search
for the truth because we need more people speaking out. And let us
keep the faith that we will continue to strive for positive future,
no matter how short or long it may be......
