This is my favorite shot of the house. Notice the dozen vents in the roof. That's what you get from a professional roofer who builds his own house. By the way, the pitch on the roof is as steep as code will permit. According to the builder, it's a 30 year roof. Woohoo! The solar panels are right there on the roof too. the closest door is the "front" door. The farther door is an outdoor closet where the hot water heater lives. Also, from the closet, there is a hatch giving access to the batteries. You can see the 2500 gallon water tank off to the left at about the roof line. That will be moving about another 20 feet or so up the hill as soon as I can figure out how to do it (the water pressure is really low right now).
