Conquering Nations
Introduction
Based upon facets from various games, Conquering Nations brings a free gaming system that is forum/e-mail based for handling player turns.  Using a custom game map, each player selects a nation, then builds military units, claims unowned or unoccpuied zones, establishes new cities, role-plays the diplomacy aspects and engages in combat to expand their empire.  It is suggested for 3 to 12 players, while more can play.

The game mechanics are not affected by role-play.  Player's may choose to act out their political ambitions, be it officially through the use of written agreements and/or conspiring behind the scenes.  The more players in a game, the more challenging it will be in becoming the most powerful nation.

REALISM:  There is a "fog-of-war" option that presents a bigger challenge of making decisions with incomplete or possibly outdated information.  It requires the players to cooperate to share information on unit strengths and locations.  It could even be a total fog, meaning player's are unaware of the other player's starting locations (i.e. their capital) and economic standing, with the requirement of units entering those owned zones to gather intelligence.

Combat is handled either by particpants meeting online for the combat rolls or to have a moderator resolve combat.  A player is considered "frozen" after the turn following the capture of their capital.  If they have an alliance when it happens, then their allies may choose to liberate their capital; bringing them back into the game.  After capturing all other player capitals, the last player remaining is the winner!  T

This game system is basically complete for Level I (Beginners).  hose not having multiple sided dice may use the Dice Utility found
