Phillippi Sparks- 5' 11"& 195 lbs, born 4-15-69, drafted 1992

Bringing Sparks in is an interesting move.

Sparks is a starting caliber CB---not a depth guy. The War Room rates him a 6.0 (which = Solid starter).

Should Lyght get a monster offer the Rams don't want to match, Sparks is the best UFA CB remaining on the market. (The War Room rates Lyght a 7.0).

It looks like the Rams just want to be prepared for any contingency...which is smart.
