MORE INFO AND OPINIONS 1. HOWARD BALZER: OK, here it is, from a high-placed source deep in the bowels of Rams Park: While the toy isn't totally off, it is not considered an accurate depiction of what the uniform will look like. I wasn't given details, only that there are several things different in the new uniform and, according to my source (who saw the toy), the colors aren't very good. Keep in mind as well, that the total picture of the new look needs to be viewed with the helmet. So, again, let's be patient. Wait for the real thing. The unveiling is expected to be before the draft. 2. TIM W*: Local FOX station on uniforms--->tonight Pete Peterson showed the picture from the ezine of Warner wearing the dark blue uni. Peterson said that sources in the Rams say the colors are close but that the details of the dolls uniform are not. He says the uniforms will definitely be changed, but the doll is not accurate. 3. RAM-BLE: In his audio report, Bernie talked about the new Unis, which will be unveiled around the draft. He's seen them. Bernie said the only real change will be the color scheme. It'll be Notre Dame gold and navy blue, BUT the navy blue will have a "SHIMMERING QUALITY" that makes it different. We'll have 3 different pants options: white; navy; and gold. |
