I. SOME PLAYERS AND COACHES.

GANSZ LEAVING. As a veteran Gansz basher this fits his behavior in my mind. For someone who preaches the military he knows nothing about loyalty and not much about telling the truth. Take your sqawk box with you.

BUSH FOR JENKINS. Some of the coaches and most of the front office still were in favor of Devin Bush starting even after missing training  camp. But Vermeil thinks that a player has to be there in training camp to start and was against it....it is also well documented that Steve Brown is and was a Jenkins supporter.

I think  that Jenkins is a play 8 men in the box and blitz a lot type of strong safety...kind of like the 49ers did with Tim McDonald after he could not cover anymore. The Broncos play that type of defense and I would expect Jenkins to sharply increase his sacks and tackles and would not be surprised to see him get Pro Bowl  consideration out West in that type of defense.

I think Devin Bush is a better player for the Rams style of defense though and welcome this move.

CLEMONS. Charlie never really played MLB in nickel situations, he was more of a wild card blitzer who moved around a lot..London was staying on the field toward the end of the year and has a lot of potential as a blitzer I feel.

HORNE. I thought he showed immeasurable progress in the preseason at WR and then could not get onto the field during the regular season. He could be a candidate to replace Hakim in a few years if they cannot keep Az after free agency.

EVER MEET A RAMS PLAYER PAST OR PRESENT?

* Les Josephson
* Isaac Bruce-Painfully shy
* Kevin Carter-a wonderful person
* Todd Kinchen-a Treat.....Heavy Metal kid
* Alexander Wright-a Great Guy
* Tony Banks
* Shane Conlan
* Mark Rypien-Very patient

II. GEORGIA

I don't really have much of a stand on the LA vs. Stl. debate but do have a couple of things to offer.

* Georgia spends almost all her time in Sedona Arizona and not in St. Louis or LA...the reality is she doesn't like either locale all that much.

* Georgia is not going to sell this team until she dies and Kroenke knows it....

* The LA Rams had borrowed quite a bit of money from the NFL contingency fund before the move and were in danger of default..something like 20-30 Million as I recall.

* I thought Georgia's comments on TV after the superbowl were tasteless and mean spirited...especially in light of the thousands of LA fans and West Coast fans that were watching on TV at the time.

* The situation with the Cardinals move is a very odd  series of events that could only happen in this Burg. The contention between Republican Gene McNary and Democrat Vince Schoemel (an all time fool in this man's opinion) was silly to watch at times...and Billy Bowtie's efforts to bar beer in a St. Louis stadium goes a long way to show how very little this man understands about St. Louis, football or getting a stadium built here. The Busch family would have sent him to the bottom of the Mississippi in the old days.
