LOSING BILLY JENKINS

I use to live in the Washington D.C. area a few years ago and for Billy Jenkins to come from Howard University as a street free agent, make our team, start on our team and win a Superbowl championship is almost as inspirational as Kurt Warner.

Everyone told this guy that he couldn't play in the NFL. No one drafted him and the only look he got was from a very bad Rams team at the time. Charley Armey has got a very good eye for street talent and bargain players.

I wish Billy Jenkins the best of luck and I am glad this contrat is for big dollars which should secure his family's financial security.

Amp Lee was one of the few bright spots in the two seasons before this one. He was a true professional.

He will do well somewhere else, but he just didn't have a spot with the Rams anymore.
