Oh yeah---there are lollipops to be dished!!! The Rams spot the Titans a 21-point lead, and came within inches of pulling it off on the road.  Of course, there were a few guys who really did their part to put the team behind the 8-ball:

FRED MILLER---Help yourself to 8 Lollipops (one for each penalty flag you drew---6 false starts & 2 holding calls).  Or you can trade the 8 pops in for a day-long sucker, because last Sunday you sucked all day long!!!  Save your Wayne Gandy impersonations for amateur night at the comedy club, please...

(I really hate to do this, but) KURT WARNER---Although you did redeem yourself in the second half, you coughed the ball up 4 times.  Hodgins had to change course to pick up the linebacker, so you can't fault him for the fumble on the play fake.

PLAYCALLING---Amp Lee would have provided quite a few new wrinkles. Why was he kept under wraps until the 4th quarter.  Where was the shovel pass?  The heavy rush was coming from the outside.  Also, in the past few weeks, the offense has become a lot less vertical---you have to take at least one shot to dial long distance.

THE ZEBRAS---Roland Williams' holding penalty was a total farce, and Steve McNair definitely coughed the ball up before his knee was down (unfortunately, the official ruled him down, thus nullifying any chance of challenging the replay, so don't get on DV for not challenging the call).  The worst of course, was saved for last when the penalty for roughing the kicker was relinquished---the rusher was NOT blocked into the kicker...okay?!

Hopefully, the Rams will still have the bitter taste in their mouths when they get to Detroit.  Time to get back on track, fellas!

(floss often...)
