I just have to say after
listening to Kevin Carter tonight on Rhome [Dec 23] that I am continually impressed with
the way Rams players carry themselves off the field. This has to be one of the most
intelligent and articulate teams in the league. You name them---Kurt Warner, Keven Carter, Marshall Faulk, Ike Bruce, Torry Holt, DeMarco Farr, Grant Wistrom, Todd Lyght, Robert Holcomb etc.---I've seen them all this year in TV interviews. And they've all been everything you would hope a player you root for would be. They're smart, down to earth and articulate. They are the consumate professionals. There doesn't seem to be a single "I'm a big dumb football player get that microphone out of my face before I kick your @ss and just give me the damn ball" bonehead in the bunch. The rest of the teams can have their Keyshon Johnsons and Ryan Leafs. I like our guys. And it makes it that much more fun to be a fan of this football team. |
