I live here in Charlotte and
they had Muhsin Muhammad on a local sports radio station....they asked if he has been
rubbing elbows with any of the Super Bowl Champs for good luck? He replied... "Actually, I'm pretty good friends with Issac.....and he was supposed to be here Tuesday but did not show up until yesterday afternoon (Thursday). Here's a funny story about that also....Chris Carter, who is the unofficial leader around here.....asked yesterday morning `where in the hell is Issac anyway? He should have been here by now.....he must be like Forrest Gump and caught that TD pass and is still running.'" Moose said the locker room went nuts and they decided to refer to Bruce as "Gump" from then on..... ...no one has let Bruce in on it and he keeps asking "why is everyone calling me Gump"? |
