Some guys I like out there:

Tony Berti OT, Denver-Was contending for starter. Lost out to Matt Lepsis. This offseason, the Broncos coaching staff said they had 5 backups that will be better than their last year's starters on the OL. And these 5 will give them maybe the best OL in the NFL in years. Berti was one of them. Will definitely be grabbed. Young enough too.

Steve Russ LB, Denver-Air Force guy they had high hopes for. Military thing may have precipitated the cut?

Rufus French TE, Seattle-High draft pick, I believe.

Juan Porter C, Washington-Ohio St. OL guy. Star on a good college line.

Marcus Hinton TE, Oakland-Athletic TE from a small school. Hasn't blossomed. Bounced around some.

Geno Bell DT, Jets-Here's your DT. Jets liked him. Were trying to trade him to the Browns, who'll probably beat us to him. Big, active. Had a very good camp.

Greg Lotysz OT, Jets-Really looked good for the Jets who are loaded with OL draft picks. They'll almost certainly practice squad him. Huge...like 6'7" or more. But in great shape.

Olrick Johnson LB, Jets-Jet fans were horrified at this cut. Problem is the Jets have the best and deepest LB corps in the league. Phifer isn't starting there. Johnson is another UFA that will be practice squadded.

Casey Dailey LB, Jets-Pass rushing OLB that was, according to the coaches, "the best looking draft choice in camp" last year. Got hurt. Hasn't recovered. Jets can't wait. Going for the championship.
